Lost all acros recently due to fluconazole. I'm devastated, but looking to move forward. I did a 40% water change and put chemipure carbon and poly filter in sump. My question is, when would tank be ready for new acros? Another question I have for acropora keepers is, does anyone have issues in the spring with their acros? Seems like once spring came, mine started doing poorly. Thanks!

Here is a good read on this treatment with others experiencing the same

Sorry about that. I personally haven’t had issues with fluconazole, but I know others like yourself have. When I use it for byropsis, I use a half dose for a few days, then do a large water change of at least 50%. I don’t think they have the minimum dosage required nailed down yet.

As far as when new acros can go in, it’s tough to tell for sure, imo. Maybe right now, maybe after another wc? The only thing about spring time I can think of is the change in ph or alkalinity that the new season brings with warmer air. Good luck!
