Lou Malnati's or Giordano's or.... What's your deep dish pizza preference?

Which is better?

I will say that Village Pizza now has 2 locations. Both do well. The one on Rt 25 is the best though. And Als beef is great. But so is Portillos. The best however, can't be bought from a resteraunt that I know of. Bari Beef in South Elgin sells it by 5 lb bags and a tub of juice. Absolutely fantastic if heated right.

Kinda off topic, but it would be very cool to meet up with some of you that are going. I'll be there Saturday for sure and possibly Sunday.

Me and my family will be there Saturday as well. Just come by the reef2reef booth.

Forget the deep dish pizza. It tastes just like pizza... just thicker.

Go for the Italian Beef! It's the Chicago food no one knows about. Portillo's is a chain, I know, but it's a great start.

So Big Al’s is the best Italian beef? I can get Portillo ‘s in Indy and it is good but I know there is better somewhere!

It's absolutely worth the visit if your in the area. It's not the same as Portillos, imo. Both are great. But they really aren't identical.

There are too many to count but this is kinda like asking who's got the best cheese steak in Philly......It just can't be won.

Uh-oh. Here comes a fight. Everyone from south philly knows Pat’s is the king of steaks. Jim’s is close, and geno’s only if the store is out of steak-ums.:p;Woot
