I have an Aquamaxx ecomaxx em300 that has gotten loud.. it's not the pump it's the "silencer" on the airline... I have cleaned it out etc.. doesn't help... it sounds like a pressure cooker or a teapot haha... any tips or ideas?

You can do a diy silencer. I used an air valve from a maxijet and put cotton in the end of it. I can take a pic when I get home and post it. Or you can get a skimz silencer from brs that would work also

I took a pic not sure if you can see it well but its the air valve that comes with a maxijet pump.

Did you also rinse the airline tube with hot water when you cleaned it?

Heres the pic when I did this it cut down the sound to almost silent
