Have you forgotten why you love reef tanks?
What's NOT to love about having a beautiful living reef with colorful fish swimming in and around the rock and corals right in the middle of your living room? Well....fish poop. And stinky equipment. And dead frags. Hard work and money. And the list goes on and on! I would argue though that there is way more to LOVE than to HATE in this hobby or we all wouldn't be here today reading this thread. Some of you may have forgotten what you do LOVE and why you're keeping a reef tank anyway. So I believe it helps to just LET IT OUT and that's what today's QOTD is about!
So answer me these two questions.
1. What are TWO (2) things you LOVE about owning an aquarium?
2. What is ONE (1) thing you HATE about owning an aquarium?

Love: The beauty and the challenge
Hate: The fact that I can't go anywhere (vacation, work travel etc) without worrying about the tank, even though I have gone to great lengths with automation, redundancy and monitoring with notifications.
