My LFS has them for a great price and they were eating very well, had to get'em. I've tried regular Copperbands in the past but with no success.

Here's one with him swimming along with my MI, four months eating like a champ.

Thank you

I actually still consider it "brand new", started up in early February.

Just out of curiosity what's a good price? I wish I could have one but I'm assuming they're not reef safe. Gorgeous fish!

The Mielleri was $65, seen them posted online for way more. The Muelleri is considered as the most reef safe of the the butterfly fish you can find. I got him small to get him/her trained on eating prepared food before introducing corals.
Fingers crossed!!

Whats the difference between that and a CBB?

im sure others can chime in with more scientific reasons but the color, shorter snout, they come strictly from Aus. and have a better survival rate vs regular Copperbands.

Thanks it's been doing really well, defiantly one of my most favorite fish in the tank.
Glad to hear it!

Now that I think about it, I don't know that I have ever seen one of these guys with my own two eyes (like at a local fish shop). I did, however, see a Beautiful Butterfly the other day at my LFS. :)
