I have a 120 litre tank which is filled with mostly lps. My kh stays at 7.0 while using 5ml of all for reef everyday. I’m wanting to increase to 8.0 and been advised to use seachem reef carbonate. Anyone used this before ?

I just use baking soda mixed with my top off water. Works great as long as the wife doesn't catch me raiding the fridge

You generally want to keep Alk/Ca in balance. So if your Alk is low due to consumption, you can just increase All-for-Reef dosing to increase Alk/Ca. I believe that with All-for-Reef, which uses Calcium Formate, recommends using Ca for getting your numbers as Alk is timed-released through bacteria interaction. Unfortunately, Ca testers aren't really great for testing.
