Low Ph in Red Sea 250

Hello Everyone,

I recently moved and I have been struggling with ph. I have a RSR250, mostly sps. I'm dosing Aquaforest 1+,2+,3+. My low ph has been kicking my butt. I don't have a refuge or a scrubber on the tank currently. I do have a 302scrubber and a Skimz chaeto reactor. Removed the scrubber before the move because it took up too much space in my tiny cabinet and the reactor wasn't doing much from my nutrient export. My ph is around 7.6 at night to around 7.9 when the lights are on. I added a co2 scrubber(which brought me up .3) not knowing that it would deplete so quickly. Not a feasible option for me so I'm here to ask for help and suggestions. I'm curious about adding some limewater/kalkwasser to my top off. Bad idea? If not how much should I add to 5g bucket. Hoping to raise my ph but don't want to stop dosing my components.

Tried that. Maybe I should have tried it longer. Also I run an AC unit on at all times. Either on AC or fan. Thought that would bring fresh air in.

There are ways to make the media last much longer, mostly by feeding it humid air, e.g.: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/why-add-water-to-diy-co2-scrubber.452396/#post-5119560

Obviously that helps the most in dry climates. Mine (in Denver) used to deplete in days and now lasts weeks.

Unless your AC unit is designed to pull fresh air from outside it will not help remove excess c02 from inside your home. I had to rig up a way to get fresh air from outside and it has helped a lot.
