LPS corals not looking good after tank move

Hello everyone my old 125 gallons that was running off canister filter cracked at the end of March while my fish were in QT due to an ich outbreak on my purple tang. By the end of April I had set up a new 125 with a sump this time. I sterilized all rock and bought new sand except for some filter media that was in 1 canister filter that I transferred over. So the tank has been running since but seems like none of the corals are happy. I lost 2 elegance corals that’s weren’t doing so great before hand, a 3rd elegance that was about 8 inches is now about half the size. The flesh band on my torches and hammers are slowly receding. Gonis aren’t as big as before they were like soft ball sized and now maybe half of that size. My corals are mostly hammer, torches and Gonis. Some are frags and some are small colonies. I am currently dosing all for reef, coral Amino, Red Sea AB+, restore.

My parameters seem good all tested with Hanna checkers and
Alk - 8.5 dkh
Magnesium - 1550 (a bit high cuz of salinity)
Calcium - 480
Phosphates - 0.07
Nitrates - 10
Salinity 35-36 ppt (due to duetto 2 Ato, just picked but haven’t installed an tunze Osmolator 3)

I’m guessing the tank is not mature enough for all these corals in the tank yet since everything basically is new. I just ordered some stuff from BRS to help.

Anything I can do to help with maturing the tank? I was thinking about some rubble from Tbs saltwater but I’m scared of any hitchhikers.

I wouldn’t have sterilized the rock but here we are, just keep things stable and they be ok.
You can add coral to brand new tanks and they do fine, as long as the parameter stay level

With the new rock and new sand, its a new tank. The corals went from a mature tank to a new tank.

I know but I had so much vermited snails everywhere so I wanted to crush the population but in hindsight it wasn’t my smartest idea

I think once the Ato is set up again everything should be stable but I wanted to add more maturity to the tank but idk how to go about it without getting live rock

@Mr. Mojo Rising nailed it. Went from a reasonable mature tank to a brand new one.

You're going to have to ride out, best you can, new tank uglies.

Maybe I missed it, but hopefully you've got a RODI system and at least right now you're doing regular water changes.

Elegances are NOT generally easy. Much of the rest of LPS are pretty tolerant.

But do the standard maintance, do it regularly, and try and address any issues with patience and thoughtfulness.

I have experience with Gulf Live rock - but both companies offer solid products.

The number of good to bad hitchhikers is like 100:1.... There's not a lot of bad, and the good far outweighs the bad.

You can also ask either company what to look for in "bad" hitchhikers when the rock arrives. In my case, if I had done that, I would not have willingly added 3 mantis shrimp to my tank. They know their bad hitchhikers.

Yeah I’m using an RODI unit. The elegance was huge, the GOnies also were super open but now I can’t seem to make them happy

Got all my rock from gulf live rock besides the branch , not many hitch hikers , a big bivalve and lightbulb anemone / snails / probly bristle worm / pods / ect.. all good nothing bad for me

Order some florida keys mud and some florida keys live sand. Put that in your system/refugium.
It's going to be the fastest way.

Yeah honestly that’s what I’m scared off the most come predatory hitchhikers like mantis shrimp or crab. If you ask them would you be sure they removed them?

No, miracle mud would mix very well with it, but the florida keys mud is live mud taken out of the mangroves.
There are all kinds of things in it that will populate your system as well as well as all of the necessary strains of bacteria from the ocean that are perfect for this situation.

Miracle mud is basically just a dry substrate with claimed trace elements. Florida Keys Live Mud is the real deal.
