Very nice. Ive actually got my eye on one, just waiting to pull the trigger.
The top one I had for nearly a year, no new growth. The bottom one has nearly doubled in the last 2 years.

Sorry to bring this thread back after a year, but I purchased this bowerbanki about a year ago and it hasn't held it's vibrant red... lost it pretty quickly if I remember. It's now more of a burnt orange color. I'm curious if I have too much light, not enough light, if target feeding is actually the answer.

This is my tank for reference and everything is doing pretty darn good... but I really like this bower and it just looks bland now. It is located on the sand bed and you can see it to the right of that large red trachy:

I have tons of acans that still have great color etc. A couple pics of my acans for reference:

I really like these corals,, I do think they need to be fed,, maybe not to the point of,,, they need to be fed to stay alive,,, just a bit to keep them happy,,, this is JMO ,, I am kinda peeved at vendors when it comes to this coral ,, They treat this coral as if it were a acan,,, they chop them down to one polyp,,, but IMO these corals don't reproduce as fast as acans,,, seems to take then forever to start reproducing,,, and if you do find a multi polyp frag,,, they want like $500 for it :( one polyp is better than no poly I guess ,,, just don't be expecting it to be 6 polyps in a year,,,

New additions. These are stock photos from the company I bought them from, the name you can see in the picture. I will say that they look almost as good under my lights, very pleased.

@kwhyle

I'm no expert and am learning as I go along, but it looks similar, until someone with a reason why it should be removed, lets leave it. Bowerbanki was in with the Acans, but has now moved over to Homophyllia.

I would love to see that under some different lighting, I'm sure it has some beautiful details. (Sorry that sounds like a backhanded compliment)

I just received one from Aqua SD today, and I was surprised about how large it is. I was expecting a small frag, but it’s about 2.5”.
