I was hoping to get some advice on my coral journey. I started to add a few items recently since I thought my tank was getting stable enough to support LPS/ZOAs. Tank has been running since September. For a while everything looked great and healthy but in the last week things have started to go down hill. I don't see any really bad measurements so it has me thinking something else is happening. Maybe not enough light but they seemed good for a few weeks. Measurements:
Nitrate 1 - Nyos
Calcium 400 - RedSea
Phosphate 0.61 - Hanna ULR
Mag 1140 - Aquaforest
ALK 10.3 - Hanna
Salinity 1.025
The only things that I have done that I can think of are slacking on adding Phyto and I stopped using filter socks a few weeks ago. I also severely cut back on pellet food and I am relying more on frozen food from AF4. I just could not wrap my head around any of those causing this because I would expect if it was related to the filter socks that my nitrates/phosphate would skyrocket.
I attached a few pictures since maybe someone will see something since I am a newbie. The candy cane in the picture looks good (I think) but two heads have fallen off in the past 2 weeks which scares me a little. The ZOA when opened was overfilling the frag plug and now looks rough. All fish seem very happy and healthy. I really appreciate the help!
