Does anyone have a lunare wrasse? If you do, is it reef safe? And what’s the temperament?

I did a search, and have mixed reviews. Appreciate anyone can let me know. Thanks!

It’s “reef safe” as in it probably won’t bother any of your corals, but it will eat smaller fish and any inverts (shrimps/snails/crabs) that you have in your tank. I had one that I didn’t consider aggressive but it was crazy active and ate a ton of food.

I had one once long ago, it was gnarly watching it bite feeder fish in half, very sharp teeth, not any kind of friendly.

Any pictures?
Not a great one, he’s quick.

He’s hot pink and light blue. Fiesty, would be happy in a nice fowlr or a reef tank with other fast moving carnivorous fish. He is fine with my flame angel and leopard wrasse that are in there, no aggression, but he needs more swimming space sometime soon. Free to a good home Thalassoma Quinquevittatum

Thanks, appreciate the offer! But I think I'm going to try to find a reef safe wrasse...

Here’s my Lunare Wrasse that likes to lay on the toadstool  I’ve had him since he was little like the yellow coris wrasse photo bombing ;Stig. He’s in with small clowns and he doesn’t bother them. As far as being reef safe, he is to me. I don’t have crabs that he can bother so I’m good.

Not that this is much help, but I accidentally bought one when I was first setting up my reef a dozen plus years ago. I can't remember what it was labeled as, but when I got home and figured out what I had, I spent the rest of the night tearing down my reef and brought him back the next day.

Not reef safe. Will eat shrimp and other inverts. Can get aggressive to other fish. Very active.

I have one to trade. 4-5”
