Hey everyone, with just about 8 weeks until MACNA 2011, we just wanted to remind you that the final discount price of $125 for a full access pass expires on July 31. Don't let that slip by! Order now and use that extra money for some raffle tickets, a shirt or to buy some great stuff at the show!

We've got a great lineup of speakers including Sanjay Joshi, Julian Sprung, Anthony Calfo, David Hannan, Charlie Veron, Murray Camp and many more!

As always, MACNA will feature a HUGE raffle with thousands of dollars in prizes. There will be complete tank setups, controllers, lights, power heads, skimmers, coral packs, gift certificates and much, much more! One lucky winner will event get a Caribbean cruise for 2! Visit MACNA 2011 Raffle Items to watch the list of prizes grow!

With well over 100 exhibitors on site, you'll see fantastic corals for sale, new products that are just hitting the market, and more.

As an extra bonus, MACNA pass holders get free admission to the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines during the event! Blank Park Zoo

Finally, if you want up to the minute details on the show, follow us on Facebook at MACNA 2011 | Facebook or Twitter at MACNA 2011 (MACNA2011) on Twitter. If you have more questions or are ready to order tickets, go to http://www.macna2011.com.

We hope to see you there!

Who's coming to see me at MACNA?

Sure wish we could afford the trip. I'd do it in a heartbeat!

We are going! We will be getting it all together at the last moment though due to us waiting on our money to come in....it should be in the week before MACNA so that should be fun getting all of the tickets and plane tickets together. We already have rooms at the Marriot. Can we order tickets online still the week before MACNA? Or do we have to get them at the door? Just wondering because we will be buying them the week before and we want to go to the banquet and dinner Friday and Saturday night.

Rev, I live here so I'll see you. I take it you'll be manning the R2R booth? I wish I was going to have the Miracles rimless tank by then, but it won't be here until 9/19. I have to thank you in person for your thread, or else I would have gone elsewhere and been disappointed I'm sure.

Wow that is nice to know and YES we will be manning the booth! :D

Ohhh this sounds so awesome! I wish I could go. 125 dollars is a good deal!

i still dont know if i can go, but i want to.
its only 5 hours drive.
finding the time off work is the big issue

You didn't save vacation explicitly for such event? This is one of only a few annual events that are a must for vacation time....

If you are on the fence about this MACNA hurry up and fall off. This will be an awesome one and Downtown Desmoine is a very cool place. Sorta like a mini Nashville, plenty of great eats, live music, and bars.

We be saying hello for sure David, see you there.

Tick, tick, tick, I can't wait!

MACNA is an event that is not to be missed! I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Yeah, my wife is desperately trying to recover from her kidney cancer surgery so she can attend. Heck she just had a surgery on wednesday to try to help the healing process. She despite my urging to rethink it is determined to be there. It is very possible shortly after Macna she will have to go in to have the kidney completely removed. If she can make it there there is no reason anyone on the fence about going shouldn't try to attend. It has been a long time since Macna has been in the midwest. If we don't represent well we may never get another one this close again.

We're going all out. Bringing thousands of dollars in free samples and have been working around the clock pretty much to make some of the coolest pieces we have ever made. It will be a good chance to get some of these pieces without paying the shipping cost. And sometimes that can be $75 plus on just one piece. Not to mention we are donating a 93 gallon cube tank fully equipped and stocked with corals with help from our buddies at Reefs Aquatics and with help from a bunch of other vendors to The Smouse Opportunity School. And that's just us. Plus a portion of everything we sell at Macna will be donated to the caretakers of the Smouse Opportunity School tank. So you can stock up on supplies for the fall frag season and do something for a good cause. Smouse is a 100% special needs school. Many of these kids will probably never see the ocean. And it would probably be a safe bet that most will never get to dive a reef. So we're gonna bring a reef to them. And that is just at our booth.

I have seen some of the livestock some are the vendors are going to be taking to the show. Plus there is always new technology being revealed at the show. You get to hang out with some of the best reefers in the country. WOW!!!!! Macna is gonna be so sweet. I am getting pumped.

We will be in Des Moines for sure. Be sure to stop by the Marine Aquarium Expo booth (front row) and say hi. We will be bringing our grand projector screen in the background and running a slide show about 6-feet tall. We will be introducing two new categories of booth for MAX 2012 at MACNA (new $500 Economy Booths and new $100 Hobbyist Tables) only about ten of each will be made available on a first-come-first-served basis.
