Dear MACNA Community,
We have been monitoring Hurricane Dorian very closely. The safety of all MACNA attendees, exhibitors, and guests is our priority. At this point, the National Hurricane Center is projecting tropical storm force winds to arrive in the area late Sunday afternoon or early evening.
The MACNA 2019 show floor will close at 5 pm on Saturday. Additionally, in order to allow all exhibitors more time to load out and travel to a place of safety, MACNA 2019 will close at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 1, 2019.
We encourage everyone, including all attendees and exhibitors, to use their best judgement regarding their safety, and that of all employees, staff, guests, friends, and family.
Please closely monitor all weather statements and use your best judgment about moving to a place of safety. You must make an independent determination as to whether you need to egress this area.
