Madracis Coral

Hi, wondering who has information keeping these corals? I just got one from Zoanthids.com here https://shop.zoanthids.com/products...32913&pr_ref_pid=4622942404721&pr_seq=uniform

Searching Reef2Reef, it looks like Zoanthids.com starting selling color variations a few years ago. Looking for anyone who has bought them before on what par/lighting, flow, etc. you are keeping them in.

Madracis auretenra is a common coral in the Caribbean which until 2007 used to be called Madracis mirabilis. Colonies form dense hemispherical clumps that can be several metres across.

As far as I know, the only Madracis species that should be M. kirbyi, not any of the Caribbean Madracis species, if the corals being sold as Madracis are even Madracis. Some people say that Madracis are NPS, but this is misleading, as only the temperate and deepwater species, such as M. pharensis, are azooxanthellate.

It's helpful. Still looking for anyone that has this in their tanks to chime in on growth, care, things like that. Also very curious why it isn't carried by more coral vendors.
