200g my mag has been hovering around low side of 1220-1250. calc 420- 450 is not dropping and alk 9 is using up about a dkh a day. in process of raising mag in hopes that calc will fall in place. does this in theory sound correct? salfiert test on mag and calc, hanna alk and calc dosing with esv products. any input would be appreciated.

Is there any evidence that mag higher than nsw params really changes anything?

No doubt mag well below nsw parameters can cause issues but I'm wondering if there's actually any noticeable difference between, say 1250 and 1400? I run blue bucket which seems to run lower on mag and have been debating whether or not it's worth buffering it.

I am jealous of those numbers.

If those were my numbers I would not touch a thing. Keep doing what your doing. Chasing a few numbers will get tiring after a while. They will never stay exactly constant. Get a good dosing regiment and use monitoring to tweak it.

If you feel you should dose use Randy’s calculator
