Hi everyone so it’s been 6 months my tank has been up and running and I started to put corals slowly in every 3 weeks 2 corals at a time and started dosing. My cal is at 448,alk 8.8, mag ranges between 1200-1279 but I would like it to be at over 1300. No matter how much I dose (ML) it stays usually below 1240 with the exception one time 1270. Here’s a list of what I have in the tank right now please if you have any suggestions how to raise mag lmk. Thank you

How much are you adding and what type Mg are you using? It is likely just a matter of dosing a little more until you reach your desired level... I would shoot for @1400 ppm...

I have had good success with Kent tech M. My mag got to about 1430 and stays there I usually only dose once every week. I don’t have a very big tank though but It is stocked heavily with corals. The dry stuff from BRS is cheeper though but the Kent has definitely worked for me

Sure you are calculating correctly? It takes ALOT compared to the others. I have the BRS 2 part with the Mag and have no issues raising Mag levels
