Is there a maintenance shortcut that actually works? Maybe it is to speed up the time it takes to do something, or maybe it is to save costs. Let's hear about those maintenance shortcuts!
 
Not doing them.

Seriously, some folks do things that may not be useful. Vacuuming detritus, for example.
 
It's 100% worth it to buy a magnetic stirrer if you mix your own stock solutions. It will do a better job and save you lots of time. They're pretty cheap too.
