I made a regular rectangle on my large curved tank years ago, then cut a piece of 3/8" thick acrylic to shape, and attached hinges to the screen top, for easy maintenance and feeding.

i wrote in an earlier reply.i used egg create also. After fitting to tank a 72, I glued another egg create piece on top of the first layer.using super glue gel .just slide the second layer over to make smaller openings then glue. Fish can't jump out.

I also did the rectangle shape screen and cut plexi for the front curve. Add a hinge and a little handle and it works great for easy feeding access.
