Mandarin pair

For those that have a pair of mandarins.. do they typically stick together to hunt? Or do they go their separate ways and only meet up to spawn?

Mine stay pretty much apart during the day and only really pay each other any attention in the evening. I don't think they become fully bonded like clownfish do, they tend to do their own thing and meet up to spawn.

Mine are always within a close distance of each other. They'll separate the. Meet back up again and then swim apart and repeat

I have 4 pairs. Sometimes they are together, sometimes they aren`t.
