I built a manifold but it’s one too many gate valves and doesn’t fit with the control box there. How can I take the last one off after it’s been glued?

Oof… it looks great, don’t get me wrong!

This is just inconvenient! You didn’t leave enough pipe between sockets to reliably get a new fitting on the remaining pipe stub, so this may be tricky…

The gold standard would be to get a duplicate union fitting and use only half of it, coupling to the existing union half, and rebuilding all downstream plumbing… but, that’s expensive!!

You MIGHT be able to get a fitting to glue and seal if you cut the last elbow/valve off… give yourself the longest residual pipe stub possible, and use a nice, thick glue… possibly even cut down the length of the cap socket (given that it tapers)…

Can’t see to the left of the black pipe dropping down from the tank but if it’s nothing I’d cut here than twist it 90 degrees and 90 off it. That would shift your manifold to the left and may give you the space you need

THIS!

you only need one new union to use half of this way, and you get a good pipe stub length to glue a new fitting onto!
