I am in the process of redoing my sump and plumbing, I want to make a manifold that will come off of the return line. I have 1/2" pvc with all the fitting and ball valves, if I tee off the 1-1/4 return line and hook it up to 1/2" will that be ok, or will I need to bleed off some pressure at the end?

I have other sizes, but these are already glued together and was trying to use it for sake of ease

Need more information.
What are you wanting to supply with the manifold and what are their flow requirements? What size pump and what is your headloss between the sump and display? What is your desired flow in the display from the return and can the pump provide this after you siphon off some of the flow for other uses?

Photos or diagrams really help picture what you are wanting to do.

Its a jebo 9000 return pump, the manifold in question would be feeding my dual reactor, Uv light and thats all for now. My headloss is about 4 ft
