Never ordered dry rock from anyone and with my build I figured I'd get a good chunk of rock to start everything off and I ordered 40lbs of Rock (44lbs rocks shipped) and 40lbs of sand and the sand is awesome and fine. Shipping took 3 business days free shipping and 40 of rock and 40 of sand for $119 shipped. I'm very impressed.

Some of that rubble they put in on purpose too. I ordered 10 pieces of the shelf rock and only one came broken which I dint care because my plan was to break a couple pieces anyhow.

The first day i ordered the rock, i work mornings so i ordered it at 10:30 roughly and the rock and sand shipped the same day around 6:10, he shipped them out in 2 boxes one with USPS and one with FedEx, got two different tracking numbers so i was concerned and emailed him around 6:30 and he replied within an hour! I work in customer service myself and this guy is top knotch

I like that layout.
I've ordered from him a couple times and have had very quick shipping and very nice rock selection both times with no broken rocks. Will be ordering some of the shelf rock soon. Very good vendor IMO!

I used that rock on my last build. Great stuff. Although I just saw that BRS has some cool pieces as well.

Does anyone know if you have to "cook" marco rocks to prevent phosphates from leaching?

I am sure it would be a good idea, but I purchased 100 pounds 6 weeks ago and placed it in my new set up 90 gallon. My tank went through a cycle and so far is still doing well. I tested for phosphates and all seemed good so far.
