Update to build thread
Due to falling down stairs a couple weeks back and tearing my ACL, I was unable to go downstairs to care for my tank. I unfortunately lost all of my fish except for purple tang, one wrasse, and my snow flake eel and I am still worried about them, especially tang, as she still has spots on her. They were covered in either white substajnce, which I believe was a bacteria of some sort. I lost quite a bit of coral as well, almost all of it. I have been devastated! To say the least, I had these fish for over 2 years. I lost all of the clowns in the 40 gallon as well. It has not been a good 2 weeks for me as I also recently got permanently laid off from job. I hope that I can still save the rest of my Aquatic life, but is not looking to good.

I am sorry to hear that!! It definitely hurts when losing tank mates, the fact that you haven’t given up yet shows that they are in good hands, keep on and maybe reach out to local hobbyists or lfs to see if they can take care of the tank in the meantime

Thank you very much! It was really difficult to see all of the losses! That is what I had to do in order to get all of the dead ones out and do a water change for me.
