Hi everyone, really frustrated and disappointed with Marine Depot. I had Likely placed my last order with them this past week.

I placed a order on Monday that was showing a estimated delivery for next week. I just recently received notification yesterday that my order shipped and will be received by tomorrow. Issue is, no one will be there to receive it and my area has a high amount of theft for packages (porch pirates).

So no problem UPS allows you to request pickup at their shipping hubs through their tracking accounts. I tried to request through UPS and nope, Marine Depot doesn't allow change requests directly by the receiver. The person from UPS said no problem, just contact the company (Marine Depot) and request them to make the request to us to allow pickup at my nearby hub. Contact Marine Depot, and no they said there's nothing they can do, called, messaged, emailed requested management, same response. no help but "it's ok it's on the way."

Called UPS again and they said they don't understand why since it's a fairly simple procedure. I even know because my company overnights major contracts and documentation by UPS, and I have personally had my assistants redirect packages on a few occasions to different locations or put hold. I also had BRS do it recently on a high end light, no questions asked.

So now there will be a not cheap package that will be sitting outside for a few days. Only because I requested a exception for them to make a call to UPS to allow them to hold my order at their facility instead of delivering it to my front door where it might get stolen.
