Anybody ordered one yet? Any independent reviews. Its my birthday a few days before Christmas so maybe one of these combined with my Christmas present maybe an idea.

I have been corresponding with Layton from the company. Here is my latest one
from Layton after I asked him to inform me when they are able to start shipping the Kalkalator to the UK again

"Hi Les,

No problem I can let you know when we’re shipping again. Doing our best here to ensure we can get these delivered as soon as possible!

Thanks,
Layton"

If this Kalkwasser doser is the real deal then the overpriced (IMO) Deltec KM 500 KALKWASSER STIRRER at £500 (UK price discounted) is dead in the water. How Deltec arrived at that price is beyond me plus you have to add a peri pump to it. I certainly hope the Kalkalator is all it promises to be. When I get one I will do a review of it.

All these High Dollar Gimick's. I don't understand why we need to over complicate everything. This is my Kalk reservoir, a simple Sine Wave power head to agitate the water in a 10g aquarium. I add about 3500ml a day to my system from this reservoir of Kalkwasser. About every 6 months I completely empty this little tank and rinse the sludge out.

I agree but years ago I nuked most of my tank when my simple dosing stuck on and deposited far to much fresh Kalk. Also I don't have space for the likes of what yiu use.

I let my Neptune Apex control the dosing, the pump has to be turned on, defaults to the off position in the program. Safety protection so the pump can't get "stuck" on or so I have been led to believe, but that is also why I have a relatively small reservoir, only 10g, on a 360g system, it would spike my dKH for sure, but i have my doubts about it being enough to kill my tank.

I just ordered one.
There were some delays in shipping but its finally on its way.
