Always wondering what is the black spot thing on the bottom panel. My dream tank too. Keep us updated.

Awesome. Did you add a floor to the bottom of the stand? It looked open at the bottom in the first pics, where the flooring is visible under it, and, there looks to be a white bottom there when the sump was placed. Also, is the stand divided? Looks like there is a solid wall between the sump and the equipment part.

The black spots and black lines are different glass pieces designed to with stand earthquakes from what I have read

Stand is divided which made it a pain to plumb but the new stands are all open and I have styrofoam inserts with hard plastic cover over that.
