I have a small inch and a half gold stripped maroon clown which i bought a month ago and everything was fine. I then bought a anomie for it and now it chases and bites any fish that goes within 4ft of the anomie. I have large tangs and the are regulated to 2ft of the tank.
if they swim to middle he swims out and bites them on the backside. If I remove the anomie will this behavior change. what goes the anomie or the clown fish or both. He is chasing my 8 inch sailfin tang, nine inch Naso and 7 inch hippo tang.

Maroons are notorious for being jerks. Not sure removing the anemone will help. Others have had success with banishing them to the sump for a couple weeks and then changing the rock work around. It may just be territorial regardless though.

Removing the nem may indeed help a bit. Its established territory for the fish. But as mentioned, maroons are just big aggressive clownfish in general.
