Does anyone know why it’s so hard to find Masstick right now? My copperband only eats it and I’m low on stock. Is the product going out of production, has anyone heard?

How long have you had the CBB? Mine love PE mysis, Rods & LRS as well as baby brine and any type of live worms including earth worms. I have a flake my females loves but my male wouldn't touch flake or pellet.

I’ve only had it about a month. I’m working on transitioning it to frozen but during QT it would only eat Masstick.

I always kept mine in an observation tank until they were eating what I fed the DT. I just found it easier to train them to eat frozen without competition so I kept mine in observation as long as needed.
At least yours is eating something, that's usually the biggest hurdle. Maybe set up a brine shrimp hatchery for now so you have something to feed. I've never had a fish turn them down.

I just got a bunch of mastic from Coralvue.com I was having the same problem finding it instock.

Yeah, I was rushed putting my CBB in the display. Usually I use Masstick to get them eating then take frozen mysis and put it in with the Masstick and eventually they start eating the frozen. I travel a fair amount for work and my wife watches my tanks while I’m gone and I had 4 running. So I reduced everything to two so she only had to worry about the 2.

Got him eating frozen mysis now using that Masstick mixed with frozen trick. Took about a week but now it’s happily eating frozen soaked with Selcon. I’m going to try and get it on flake/pellets next so I don’t have to worry while I’m gone. What flake/pellets do yours like?

Good to hear its eating frozen mysis. I kept a pair of CBBs for a year before losing the male. My female will eat new life spectrum flake but I've never been able to get her to eat any other flake or pellet. My male wouid touch nothing but frozen or live. He would swim around with the female while she was feeding on the flake but he would only watch her and never touched the food. It seems to be difficult to get them on prepared food. I've soaked pellets in with the frozen and if my female gets one she'll spit it out.
