Just a fyi, I bought the 130 for my 72 bow and I absolutely love it. No more multiple pumps and this thing delivers more flow than you can imagine.
I'm running it at 70 % pulse mode.

I just bought the 150 for a 90 gallon havnt hooked it up yet but I'm kinda scared of the power. I might have to much flow with this and 2 sea swirls plus a return pump putting out over 1000 gallons but I can't wait to mess around with it when I get the time. How do u have it set up? Which gyres are u using?

Tremendous power with the gyre. An amazing piece of equipment, for sure. I got mine with the initial release and absolutely love it and recommend it to everyone. Never have I had a problem with mine on my 126g mixed reef tank.

I'm using the default gyre, no reversing. Don't worry about too much powered, it's so tuneable.

I am really enjoying my gyres also. I have used Vortechs and Tunzes, and actually still use them, I use the Gyres at the surface and the other pumps for lower in the tank flow where I feel like it might help.

Also, customer service is done by CoralVue, they already replaced one of my items under warranty so that is a big plus, in case you have issues.

Run 2 130's in my 72 bowl front for surface movement. Run both at 50% constant

I bought one for my 75g. I loved it as soon as I turned it on. took me a bit to understand the controls, and I am still experimenting on what setting I like best. For now I have it on alternating

I control mine with the Icecap module and run it at 60% for 3 seconds and 30% for 10 seconds....all the Sps have responded to the short bursts of higher flow with great polyp extension.

They're nice but a word of caution. Once it gets dirty it will gum up and just stop.

Hope every one got the new model (ruggedized.) I burned through all the propeller's sleeve in less than a year.
