I have 2 new Maxspect CE units each running a 330 and 350. Firmware is 4.1 (most up to date version). After unplugging and restarting the displays or changing the wave pattern the LCD displays will show the pumps’ wave patterns for about 2 minutes then go black. WiFi is showing as connected. Maxspect can’t seem to figure out why the display turns off. For those of you using the CE do your displays stay on constantly or is there a setting that allows the display to stay on?

Were you able to figure this out? Have you gone through all the settings? I know that can be tedious and daunting. If not, are they under warranty?

My issue is not how the software functions or how to create the wave patterns etc. as I have used their gyres through the Hydros Wave Engine for years. It was strictly a visual issue with the monitor turning off after a few minutes. Maxspect’s marketing approach is that by using their monitor you can know what your pumps are doing “at a glimpse” which would infer that the monitor would remain on and you could see the pump’s performance any time you needed. Through BRS I heard back from Maxspect today. Their monitors are designed to turn off after 3 minutes to “extend the life of the monitor just as you would a computer”. So the idea of knowing “at a glimpse” is deceptive marketing at best and a blatant lie at worst since you need to open up the app to see it, ultimately making the monitor pointless. If I had known this I would have saved a few hundred dollars and bought the Hydros gyre adapters instead. Will avoid using Maxspect in the future.
