iv got a cleair 180 gal rimless with 19mm glass all round and running a new maxspect xf350
when I setup tank and there was no water in tank" you would only have to blow on the pump and would fall off! I phoned guy at maxspect and he said that's normal until water is In tank and power going to the pump!
its running know for 4 months and cranked upto 80% and went through modes! Its rock solid on my 19ml glass!
so ok for your big red sea reefer
