I'm a new lifelong maxspect fan. Received the fixture few days ago and the digital panel was malfunctioning. Chris over at CoralVue sent me a replaced by next-day UPS!!! An expensive ship I'm sure!! The new light is flawless! Not a single thing I could imagine being better. In hindsight, the 120w version would've been more than enough but should I get a deeper tank one day (fingers crossed) it'll be perfect. Switched from 250w halide. A local guy is coming to take PAR readings today. See photo for halide/led comp...

A buddy has the razor, those lights are nice-they have done a great job with them- he has radions too and thie Radions in side by side comparison are terrible-sorry Ecotech :(

Sweet light for sure, you're gonna love the Par you get

I think you're right! I've seen the radions and while pretty with some innovative features it just simply ain't worth the extra coin. Although I suppose was money not at all an issue those features might be cool. Radion advertises one fixture fills a 40g tank. The Razor IMO is far more powerful, fills far more space, and has better quality of light. I'm sure many disagree but I'll bet most who would don't own a razor. I could still return mine so I'm not rationalizing my purchase and I could afford the radions.
