I have a 120 gal tank with a maxspect razor x r5 200w fixture, I currently have it on the soft/lps program as it's a lps tank. I have a syna-g module on order as trying to adjust it is a pain. What type of settings, white and blues, do you all suggest to make it pop and allow the frags to grow. Chalices, favias, and acans r going in the tank. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On the ICV6 there is also a specific Acan setting if you want to wait for that.
Seriously, cool. My syna-g/icv6 will be arriving Thursday, is this setting in the app?

I have the macspect rsx 200w. I have no syna-g.

What i did for my settings was increase blue channels to maximum. Add whites as much as u want to.(i have about 40-60%)This does not bother corals since they use blue light mostly. The red and green channel are at 3-5%. Lastly i used a hanging kit to increase light diffusion by hanging the light higher above the surface. Since i use blues at 100% i can do so and still have sps growing nicely. Idk if thats helpfull but for a newer hobbyist keeping it simple worked really good for me. A frequent lighting change will lead to less vibrant colors since the coral doesnt like change.

Every little bit helps, thank you.

How’s the Acan preset for you. I don’t own any, only SPS and it was waaay too blue for my taste. Reminded me of the Ecotech AB+ setting.

It is definitely blue, but I have all LPS so it works out great for me. I may add a little white light to it as I get further along. My acans and favias seem to like it so we will see.

Just bought this fixture yesterday so I’m still figuring this out, but really nice light!! I got the 300w for my 75g... maybe overkill?

I would recommend getting the syna G controller for it, it makes a world difference controlling it.

I just got the ICV6 for my 150W RZX over a 40B? How is everyone's dealing with SynaG so far?

I think it's awesome, go to you tube and search for that controller, and even though it's a a couple year old video, it will help u set it up, had mine up and running in 20 minutes

So far my lps, acans and favias seem to love the acan settings
