I purchased a Rapid Led solderless coralife biocube dimmable retrofit kit. I got it with 2 of the Mean Well ELN-60-48D drivers and the 3 color dimming kit. On one driver i plan on running 10 royal blue and 2 blue and on the other there will be 8 cool white, 2 uv, 1 red and one green. I know on the blue driver I can only set it to a max of 1000mA since that is the max of the blue leds and on the white driver I can only set it to a max of 700mA since that is the max of the red and UV leds. So my question is when these are first set up do I set them to their maxes (1000 & 700) and use the manual dimming controls to adjust the intensity or do I set them lower and slower work them up?? If I need to set them lower what would be a good starting point????

You are on the right track. Set the drivers to the milliamps that you want then then use the potentiometer dimmers to adjust the intensity from there.

You were right the first time set them to there max with the potentiometer. This will be there output at 100% full on. You then use the potentiometer to dim them to the desired level.

Sorry if that's confusing I meant set to 700 and 1000 respectively using your multi meter

Everyone is correct in there advice but be careful not to bleach your corals. What optics are you using?

With no optics you may be limited on what corals you can put in. If possible find someone with a par meter.
