Hello! I just got accepted into my mechanical engineering major! And I was wondering if there were any mechanical engineers that can give me tips for 2-4th year university!

I'm an ME as well...read your text books, program is easy if you just read the material.

Ok sweet. My big struggle for my first year general engineering was the calculus courses.. Everything else I love!

I am a ME. Show up for class. Do the homework assignments and get in a study group. I wished I would have started working on homework in a group early on.

Thanks! I'm hoping to be able to get into one early! I learned this year how good they can be!

Glad to know there are a lot of us. I agree with Bayou on this note. Go to class. You'll see a lot of people skipping classes, but it's just not worth it. Professors give away everything you need to know for a test during the classroom examples (crazy right :) The more you go to class the less you'll have to study in the long run.

Ya I found first year was a must! Thanks guys! Good to know there are more of you on here!
