I get asked this one a lot. People are often very curious as to what the prize of my entire collection is. What is your favorite acro they ask. And many of you know the answer. While it is extreemly difficult to single out just one coral, my response has for many years now been without hesitation "the Pink Panther." The slowest growing and most vibrantly pink colored acro on the market today. The Panther truly is like no other. Almost grail like even among the the most die hard sps collectors. I have had a long and sometimes tumultuous relationship with this acro but I still consider it my all time favorite. I confess that my devotion to this unmatched wonder has finally been waned.
With its gleaning blue body and contrasting pink polyps I think that I may have found a new favorite acro. I believe this guy is the same species as the pink. In fact people that know me may remember me imagining some non monochromatic panther like acro that had contrasting polyps. "how insane that would be " This is years ago mind you.
