I just got this wrasse and wanted to know if I can put him in my bare bottom QT or does it need a SB? Thx

An option for a sand bed is to place a small container of sand in the tank. This keeps the tank clean of sand, but gives the wrasse, or whatever, a place to go.

Yup. You need sand, one way or another. The above is my preferred path as well!

Thanks guys....I actually have new bag of love sand sitting around...I guess I will crack it open
