Thanks. Those swim bladder problems are a bear. Did you see the sticky where a black cap basslet had that and was cured with surgery? There are videos and everything.

Need an update pic of that Elegance. What do you think could be the problem with it not fully expanding? Light? Water Quality? Inhabitants?

Ouch poor Wrasse. I'm sure it will be ok--has an owner that is willing to quarantine so it's actually in better hands than most fish would be haha.

I'll have to get a pic tonight when I get home. I actually have a job now! I'm still not used to it ;) It's expanding pretty big, it's just the tentacles that arn't expanding. They were never fully out, but they were better than they are now. I was hoping it was just getting used to my tank. It shouldn't be having any problems water quality wise, inhabitants either. I've keep the lighting low to help acclimate all the way. I'll show ya later.

I think you're good to give more light. Doesn't seem to be disintegrating or any signs of major issues.

Actually, how is the flow?

Sorry, I'm bit new here so I don't quite get the inside joke "have a job now!" lol.

Sorry. I was a stay at home mom for 3 years and just went back to work. I'm working at my favorite LFS now. :)

The flow is light but enough to give a really nice sway. The Duncan that was in that space before opened really nicely for me there. I can increase it, but was afraid to give it too much. I'll give it the normal photo period tomorrow and see how it does. I'm also due for a water change at some point this week. Maybe the combo of these things will perk it up.

Makes sense, I was assuming something maternal. You just live, breathe, and sleep fish huh? lol

Yeah I think that mix will be your turnaround for all the bad luck events that has happened--lets hope so.

It's fun. Very laid back environment and as long as the tanks and customers are taken care of, it's just fun and games after that lol.

Thanks! Sometimes it feels that way.... but really I just have so much going on that only half of it involves fish! Crazy I know! No idea how I got this busy. There used to be days where I could sleep late, and just play with legos all day.

I'm so glad for the advice. I do hope it turns around for me. Thanks a ton!

About the same. I increased the flow and the lights. Heres a pic. It could be slightly worse.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what's going on in there with him. I'm sure you have checked your parameters and what not. What lights are you running?

Yes all in order and stable. I have 8 guiseman & ati T5's running over it. I'm thinking I'm going to borrow a couple tests from a friend and see if my tests are bad. But really, everything else should be off too right? Maybe it just shipped bad.

I'm thinking the same thing, although my friend sami has an elegance in his frag setup and it didn't do well (for him) under t5's then he switched to kree leds and it's doing great. What test kit are you using?

They are red sea and less than a year old. I have one led fixture, but it wont cover the whole tank

Hmm. Take some water to work with you and check it if you haven't done that already. I seriously doubt it's your lights, I don't even know why I brought that up:confused: have you the store know about this yet?
