meteor shower is a no light lps! lol

My Meteor shower has to be in the shadow of other corals. I moved my torch a while back and the cyphastria turned white and cracked. put the torch back and in a short while it recovered. Its growing in the shadow of corals and even under some rockwork. A beautiful pink /orange on light blue. But toward the left of pics its growing out of shadow and again turning white and cracking. amazing how little light it likes.:)

Agreed on the lighting, i've had best results under low light, moderate flow. Highly debated and irrelevant, but i've always considered these guys SPS. :D

Yea i've seen some sites list them under LPS, some as SPS. There are many threads out there debating the topic. Guess it depends on what classifies as an LPS, SPS, Softie, etc. I base it more off of the anatomy of the coral, maybe this is wrong, but in that respect cyphastrea scream SPS. Definitely agree with your care tips!
