Micro bubbles help

Trying to figure out the best way to get rid of all these micro bubbles in the tank. I think the main cause is the hob protein skimmer

Where the skimmer returns into the tank have it return into a Tupperware bowl or something similar with the top of the bowl just slightly above the water level and fill it with filter floss the filter floss will pop the bubbles and by the time it fills and cascades over the sides the bubbles will be gone but first I would try to adjust your skimmer a little bit
