Microscopic red worm ID?

Hi, I found a few little microscopic red worms eating algae while identifying some diatoms on my sand bed. Im not too worried about them as they seemed to be eating algae but wanted to see if anyone knew what they were?

This one is on a grain of sand.

It looks like what could maybe be a red bug
