For my 55 gallon reef tank I'm planning on making a control panel for all of my equipment : pumps, lights, etc. And they are all going to be ran off 12v relays and then I'm going to have a screen on the outside door and maybe 2 cameras to monitor the sump and inside the tank but the only problem I have now is I don't have wifi in my house if I did I would be using switches that I can control by my phone and then I would have IP cameras so I can see everything at anytime and I can turn on or off anything

If you are still early in development/planning, it would be worth looking into reef-pi (in this DIY forum). It has much of the functionality that you are looking for.
