I have a Midas blenny who has been in QT a lil over 2 weeks. I could have sworn he was solid yellow in the fish shop. I looked at him in the bag before putting him in QT and he appeard to be yellow with brown stripes. Very similar to the pic i attached. is that stress? Or is the blenny pictured normal? Let me know please. Always appreciate y’alls help.

Stress. They often have a stripped and dark appearance when under duress.
Give him time

Depends. Is he eating? Does he have his own hiding place in QT? Are there other fish in there? Are you treating with meds? All of these can impact how the fish feels and how quickly they may adjust to the new setting.
It should have its own PVC tube at a minimum and not be in with fast eating aggressive fish in QT. Mine took a couple of weeks to perk up while in QT. I added a barnacle cluster to the tank to help it feel more comfortable. I also fed live food to keep it perky and interested in the environment.
I also waited to start copper treatment, that can be an additional stressor.

So I waited about 3 days to start the copper treatment. He’s got like 3 Days left. He’s by himself In a 10 gallon qt with 2 pvc tubes. I feed him frozen my sis, he eats but not too much. He’s very peckish with his food.
