not sure if this is the correct spot but it’s worth a shot, setting a low light low flow twilight tank up
goal is everything dark like the sea floor, with that black rock and/or dark life rock and i was hoping for black sand but seems those have tons of issues

anyone have experience using mineral mud/ miracle mud in display?
looks dark like it would fit the style well
just unsure if it would be fit for display
anyone done this?

Apart from the fact that I would not do it, I can not think of a reason why it would not work.

One thing is that it would be near impossible to keep clean. You can't just vacuum it like you would do with sand.

vacuuming would be a concern
my biggest was just it getting disturbed too much and the water looking cloudy 24/7

I don't think you would disturb it too much, the mud tents to be quite sticky and solid! I have never tried what you have sat out to do- i do have mud in my refugium with about 7-8 times turnover though. That's the closest i have been to 'mud' and 'flow'..
