There's a mini maxi anemone that someone is giving away in for super cheap, but I don't know whether it would be safe with the fish that I have or are planning.

The fish that I would be concerned about are clown gobies and dragonets, slower moving perching type fish.

What is the likelihood of the fish getting trapped and eaten?

Mine ate a peppermint shrimp, then proceeded to die a month or two later .

Had it for a little over a year.

1 other is mia. And another just popped back to its usual spot.

Cool creatures

Thanks for the input! Do you have any idea whether they would be safe with smaller perching fish?

I've had a mini maxi in the past with no issues. Had it for about a year.

Recently, I had another mini maxi for about six months with no issues - two small clowns, bicolor blenny, green clown goby, YWG and pink-streaked wrasse and various CUC.

After about six months of no issues, the mini maxi ate my conch. Two days later, it ate my clown goby.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't own another. I was devastated! They are just far too sticky and I should have known better (I'm so sad about that conch and especially fish). Mini maxis are SO beautiful, and easy to keep for me, but I don't like to gamble (and lose)!

I’ve had one eat smaller fish and a small tang. The problem is if the nem is healthy they’re just so sticky if anything touches it by accident they’re done for
