My sump is generally holding water well. Very very small leak out of the filter sock into the skimmer section. And then there is this into the return pump. Video shows max level water before the water flows over the gate. Is this going to be a problem or is this negligible?

My silicone job was not perfect for my sump either. No problems whatsoever. I keep a small powerhead in my return chamber to keep is from getting stagnant and also helps mixing in dosing liquids so they don't precipitate.
