Been missing my Diamond Goby and Scooter Blenny for about a week now. Tank parameters have been good minus an alkaline spike to about 14 for 2 or three days, which only seemed to affect two plate coral and possibly a blood shrimp. I keep a top on my tank at all times unless I’m feeding them.
Current fish/coral: 3 juvenile Tangs (blue hippo, tomini, powder brown), two Gladiator clowns, pajama Cardinal, juvenile engineer Goby, starry Goby, 2 Emerald crab, blue hermit crab, snails, blood shrimp, cleaner shrimp, fighting conch, bubble tip anenome, bubble coral, various torches and corals and some favia and galaxia. I have found no dead bodies or remnants. Rocks are on glass and there have been no shifts or aggression that I’ve seen. SUPER STUMPED GUYS!!

If you haven’t seen either for a week I’d think it highly likely that they have passed and your clean up crew have “cleaned up“ so to speak. Unless you have a huge tank with tons of rock work and their just hiding out? My scooter is always out on the hunt for food if I didn’t see him for a day I’d be concerned

They’ve disappeared for a few days once before. Just feeling extra concerned especially since me and my boyfriend look at the tank and sit there at least ten times a day and we’ve seen no bodies. The diamond was at least 2.5 inches long. We usually see evidence but with at least two of our Chromis, they we never seen again.
