I have a mystery. I have 5 wrasse. 5.5 inch male divided wrasse, 2 inch female divided wrasse, 2.5 inch yellowtail tamarin, 4 inch melanarus and 4 inch red coris wrasse the only one that was less than 2 months old is/was the 2 inch female divided wrasse. They were all doing fine. I have 125 gallon tank with a 30 gallon sump. I added 2 mp40s and moved the magtool gyres to the center. First my 5.5 inch male divided wrasse disappeared 3.5 weeks ago. Then the 2 inch tamarin disappeared a week ago the the 2 inch female divided wrasse disappeared. Then the red Coris wrasse disappeared. It was the only one to come back. Any ideas what happened.

I have an apex and the ORP is a steady 400. I have looked everywhere and no sign of the fish. The Male leopard is huge. No smell of ammonia and I only have 10 small hermit crabs.

Not much to go on.

How long have you had them?

What other fish are in the tank?

Do you have a lid?

Were they quarantined?

Was there any odd behavior like darting, scratching, flashing, twitching?

Any chasing/intimidating?

Live rock from the ocean? Could you have a mantis? Other than that I would be thinking disease with non-QT fish.

Ha. No mantis shrimp. The rocks are from the LFS. All the other fish are fine. If there was disease don’t you think the other fish would be affected. I have some fish that are very likely to catch ich or velvet but they are fine

What I got from your original post was that you have 5 wrasses. All went missing and only one came back. No mention of other fish.

I was thinking more like flukes or internal parasites

Otherwise intimidation in the morning can sometimes send them back into the sand.

How long have they been gone for?

The big leopard has been gone for 1 month. The small leopard and tamarin have been gone a little less than a week. Just strange they all have disappeared
