i'd be careful of the emperor angel - mine was fine as a juvenile but as he matured, he was quite aggressive to all other fish in the tank. He even made a kind of bass rumble when chasing them - heard throughout the house LOL.

Did he bother any of your corals?

I've not tried my emperor with all corals, but she has nipped at several LPS, including a teal trumpet ... while leaving the "kryptonite" trumpet next to it alone.

Zoanthids . . . she eats those wholesale, like a kid after trick-or-treating.

Angels in the 220 gallon tank: 8-10" emperor, large female Watanabe's, 4" regal, 2-3" majestic (beginning color change), and a trio of flames.

Yes and No. He had a taste for soft corals like zoa's so that was a no go. Occassionally would aquire a taste for certain sps - but that wasn't very often. Luckily, i have a 2nd tank so would easily move affected corals (if they weren't destroyed) when he did. Unfortunately he succumed to Flukes - in his eyes. Tried to save him - fresh water dip, etc but he passed. Now back to a more normal tank with no issues with any corals. Still miss him though
