Anybody have opinions (lol, most do, ha ha) on mixing larger angels?? I've always loved emperors, but my regal is my pride. Anyone have recommended do/dont with mixing the 2? My regal is pretty bold, showing tangs (all except 1, my black longnose), a previous ccb and whatever else that he is second in command.

Thanks. I was thinking the same. I'd prefer a juvenile anyway.

If the Regal is established first you should be fine adding the Imperator.

I would not try it the other way around adding a Regal to a display with an established Imperator.

My Regal is the boss for sure! My tank is 165 gallons. It is easier to mix them in a larger tank.

I had no problem mixing angel fish in my tank, as long as they are fed often, they will get along

Yeah, mine still is 2nd in command to the black longnose. Occasionally they team up on the remainder of the tank mates if they're shared overflow/rock cave is infringed on. 8 feet of my 240 is what I hope might be enough space.

I try too. 1 full (12x12) sheet of roasted nori in the afternoon, pellets in the evening.
